Requirements: * Applicants must be at least 18 years old * High school diploma or equivalent * Pediatric CPR/ First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain * Successfully pass a background check and fingerprinting Preferred Experience: * Experience working with children preferred, but not required Additional Opportunities: *Hourly rates vary depending on the specific teaching position and experience. Additional pay opportunities for those with a Child Development Associate (CDA), Early Childhood Education degree or related field, or Elementary Teaching Certification Schedule & Calendar: *School hours are 8:45 AM-2:15 PM, with teacher hours from 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday- Friday *We generally follow the Rockwall ISD school calendar with a few exceptions Interested? Substitute Teachers The Substitute Teacher provides flexible, reliable classroom support in the absence of regular teaching staff. This role ensures continuity of care and instruction by maintaining classroom routines, supervising children, and creating a safe, engaging environment. Substitute Teachers adapt quickly, follow lesson plans as provided, and support children’s emotional, social and developmental needs while upholding the school’s expectations for supervision and professionalism.
