We recognize that every child is unique, with their own individual pace & stage of development.
Through observation, we support each child’s growth emotionally, socially, physically, and cognitively. We are committed to meeting children where they are and providing a nurturing environment that encourages learning, confidence, and independence. We believe that strong partnerships with families are key to helping every child thrive and reach their full potential. Our curriculum is built around three core areas: Create, Imagine, and Explore. Through these experiences, children are encouraged to be curious, creative, and engaged as they develop a love of learning and discover the world around them.
Create
Children are encouraged to freely experiment and create using a variety of materials without judgment. Whether painting a purple cow, building a leprechaun trap, or designing something completely unique, they develop confidence, imagination, problem-solving skills, and self-expression while celebrating their own creativity and individuality.

Imagine
Pretend play sparks imagination while helping children develop important cognitive, social, and emotional skills. Through dramatic play and role-playing experiences, children expand their vocabulary, build confidence, practice problem-solving, and learn to cooperate with others. These meaningful activities encourage self-expression and essential life skills that support success in the classroom and throughout their daily lives.

Explore
Children are naturally curious and learn best through hands-on experiences. Our exploration activities invite children to investigate science and math concepts by observing, questioning, and discovering. As they share ideas and work together, children develop critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills while building meaningful connections with their peers and teachers.
Additional Learning Experiences
Circle Time provides opportunities for group discussions, storytelling, songs, and shared learning experiences that foster communication, listening, social skills, and a sense of classroom community.
Readers Workshop helps children develop an appreciation and enjoyment for books while building early literacy skills such as listening comprehension, vocabulary, storytelling, and an understanding of print concepts.
Fine Motor activities support the development of small muscles and hand-eye coordination through hands-on experiences such as cutting, tracing, drawing, building, and manipulating tools and materials. These skills are essential for writing, self-help tasks, and everyday independence.
Music & Movement (Building A) / Music and Move 'N Groove (Building B) provide children with opportunities to express themselves through music, rhythm, and movement. These experiences help develop listening skills, coordination, teamwork, self-confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for music while encouraging active play and joyful learning.
Through Bible stories, activities and lessons on the Fruits of the Spirit, children learn about God's love and grace while developing character traits such as kindness, patience, self-control, and joy. These activities deepen our students' understanding of God and helps them connect with the world around them. Zoo-phonics ® is a fun, multi-sensory approach to early literacy that helps children connect letters, sounds, movement, and visual cues. This research-based program uses engaging animal characters, body motions, and interactive activities, so children learn the alphabet and develop phonemic awareness in a way that is meaningful, memorable, and developmentally appropriate. This playful approach makes learning exciting and the transition to reading and writing smoother and more successful. Handwriting Without Tears ® (4s and 5s) helps children develop proper pencil grip, letter formation, and handwriting skills through hands-on activities. This research-based curriculum builds confidence, strengthens fine motor development, and lays a strong foundation for future writing success.
Pre-K Math (4s and 5s) introduces children to foundational math concepts such as number recognition, counting, sorting, classifying, shapes, patterns, measuring, and comparing. Through interactive learning experiences, children build problem-solving skills, develop mathematical thinking, and gain confidence as they explore the world of numbers and relationships.
Each class has scheduled time outdoors on the playground, in the Nature Center, and in the courtyard. These times are essential for both physical and mental development. These outdoor spaces allow children to engage their large muscle groups, strengthening coordination and helping them learn to navigate their growing bodies.
