About Us
Our Teachers
Our teachers are the strength and the very heart of our preschool! We have the most wonderful staff of teachers who love children, and it shows! Our teachers are experienced, kind, energetic and creative. They are constantly striving for the best possible preschool experience for each individual student in their care. All of our teachers complete at least 24 hours of training each school year, and have completed background checks. In our Four's and Five's classrooms we have at least one teacher that is a certified teacher or Early Childhood Education degreed teacher, to connect preschool success with Kindergarten expectations and readiness.

Chris Conway, Director of The Ark Preschool

Chris graduated from Boston University with a degree in elementary education,
and has been at The Ark Preschool since 2018.
Chris taught for 9 years at R.Q. Mills Elementary in Dallas.
Kim Harryman, Assistant Director of Operations & Enrollment

Kim has been at The Ark Preschool since 2012, first as a teacher and then as our Office Manager.
Kim is a Notary Public for the State of Texas.
Celia Woloss, Assistant Director of Education & Resources

Celia graduated from CSU Sacramento with a degree in Child Development and has been at The Ark Preschool since 2014. Celia started as a teacher, then our Outdoor Education & Enrichment teacher,
and finally, our Resource Coordinator.
