About Us
Our Teachers
Our teachers are the heart and soul of our preschool! We are fortunate to have a dedicated and caring team of educators who genuinely love working with children, and that passion shines through in everything they do. Our staff is experienced, compassionate, energetic, and creative, always striving to provide the best possible preschool experience for every child.
To maintain the highest quality of care and education, all of our teachers complete a minimum of 24 hours of professional development training each year, and all staff members undergo thorough background checks. In our Fours and Fives classes, we have at least one teacher with a teaching certificate or a degree in Early Childhood Education, creating a strong foundation for a smooth transition from preschool to Kindergarten.

Chris graduated from Boston University with a degree in Elementary Education, and has been at The Ark Preschool since 2018. Chris taught for 9 years at R.Q. Mills Elementary in Dallas.
Kim Harryman
Assistant Director of Operations & Enrollment

Kim has been at The Ark Preschool since 2012, first as a teacher and then as our Office Manager. Kim is a Notary Public for the State of Texas.
Celia Woloss
Assistant Director of Education & Resources

Celia earned her degree in Child Development and has been a member of The Ark Preschool team since 2014. She has worked in various roles, including Lead Pre-K teacher, Zoo-phonics Coordinator, Outdoor Education & Enrichment teacher, and Resource Coordinator.
